An official pass of the Kingdom of Westphalia, dated 15 November 1811
Representative print in French and German on paper, the German half with detailed handwritten entries describing the person. The Commissioner General of Police G. W. Böhmer allows the 40-year-old Johann Heinrich Müller from Helmstedt to cross the Westphalian border on his journey to Altona ("Altonau"). The date "Göttingen den 15. Nov. 1811" and Böhmer's handwritten signature at the bottom. Small losses, tears, traces of age. Measures approx. 39 x 37 cm.
The detailed curriculum vitae of the Göttingen jurist Georg Wilhelm Böhmer (1761 - 1839) enclosed. He was co-founder of the Mainz Jacobin Club in 1792 and worked under Napoleon as "General Commissioner of the Higher Police for the Harz and Leine Department".
