A steel helmet with British emblem, 1st half of the 20th century
Smooth, one-piece Portuguese-style skull made of brown lacquered steel (dents), with the non-ferrous metal emblem of the British Middlesex Regiment on the front. Brown leather sweatband, beige felt lining, chinstrap missing. Slightly damaged, signs of age. Rare. Portugal was allied with England.
