A sabre M 1845/54 for the infantry
Heavy single-edged blade with fullers on both sides (pitted, ground), the Broad-Arrow mark, "MOLE BIRMM", acceptance marks and "2/95" at the root. Iron knucklebow hilt (acceptance mark), on the guard plate the cipher "VR" under a crown, sharkskin grip (small defects) with triple copper wire winding. Iron scabbard (darkened, small dents, pitted) with two movable suspension rings. Slightly damaged in places, signs of age. Length 100 cm.
