A sword with etched blade, 18th/19th century
Assembled. Heavy, double-edged thrusting blade with a flattened central ridge, decorative etching (rubbed) on both sides of the upper fifth, including tendrils, sun, orb. Brass cross hilt (somewhat loose) with blackened, square wooden grip and copper wire winding. Slightly damaged in places, signs of age. Length 93 cm.
