An unknown helmet for foot troops, circa 1900
Assembled. Black lacquered leather body (crackled, pressure marks) with a round peak and gilt non-ferrous metal fittings. Gilt star emblem (screwed, double holes) with filigree, silver-plated overlay "K" under a seven-pointed crown. Plate with four round-headed pintles and a rigid, smooth point, the nape without a vent. Flat chinscales on button 91, both cockades (white-green and gold-black) of lacquered sheet metal. Beige-colored rep lining on leather sweatband. Partially slightly damaged, signs of age.
