A helmet for officials, circa 1913
Assembled. Black lacquered skull of stiff substitute material with non-ferrous metal fittings. Screwed double eagle emblem with crown on the chest. Neck strap (ventilation slider), fluted officer's point (dent in ball finial) on plate with four round-headed screws. Leather chinstrap on button 91, a lacquered sheet metal cockade (later replaced). Lashed lining of black leather (small defects), chamber stamp "IR 63" and year "1913" on the nape. Partially slightly damaged, signs of age.
