Ludwig I of Bavaria - a portrait in pastel, mid-19th century Pastel on vellum. Portrait of the Bavarian King Ludwig I in a dark blue coat with three medals covered by a red ribbon. Figure turned strongly to the left in a painted oval frame. Somewhat stained. Framed behind glass in a wooden strip frame. An old label with owner's details on the reverse. Overall dimensions 85.5 x 73 cm. Condition: II -
