Approx. 70 photos of the Wittelsbach family from the archive of the Munich press photographer Kester, 1st half of the 20th century
Black and white photos ranging in size from 8 x 12 cm to 16 x 20 cm. Most with the Kester stamp and image description on the reverse. Including Ludwig II, Sisi, Prince Regent Luitpold, Ludwig III, Crown Prince Rupprecht, Prince Alfons, but also bodyguard of the Hartschiere (Chief of Bothmer), court servants, pages etc. as well as a sheet of typewritten text by Kester and a picture on the 600th anniversary of the Battle of Gammelsdorf. Partially slightly damaged, signs of age. Very informative, detailed material.
