A sabre for officers of the cavalry, circa 1900
Nickel-plated, slightly curved single-edged blade (rust-stained) with fullers on both sides and a double-edged central point, the maker's stamp "C.E." under two squirrels (Carl Eickhorn, Solingen) at the root, blade etching with fiducial bandeau on both sides. Iron knuckle-bow hilt, grip with black plastic. Iron scabbard (pitted) with a movable suspension ring. Partially damaged, signs of age. Length 92 cm.
