Three edged weapons, 19th/20th century
Sabre for enlisted men/non-commissioned officers of the Bavarian artillery, circa 1910, with a nickel-plated single-edged blade by "W.K&C", the motto "In Treue fest" etched on both sides, nickel-plated iron knuckle-bow hilt, plastic grip, attached lanyard, blackened iron scabbard with a suspension ring. French bayonet Gras M 1874, signed "Steyr 1878" on the back of the blade. Comes with a fascine knife similar to the French M 1831 (unmarked, leather torn over the locket). Slightly damaged in places, signs of age and wear. Length 66 - 98 cm.
