Three shakos for members of the Brunswick/Hanoverian troops, 19th/20th century
A shako for members of the Infantry Regiment No. 92 (Fusiliers) with a fabric-covered leather body (rubbed), black leather peak, lid and collar, black leather sweatband (cracked) and black chinstrap on the inside, skull emblem and "Peninsula" bandeau on the front, field insignia missing. Also a Brunswick infantry chako, composed of a mohair-covered black body, with the emblem with the star of the Order of Henry the Lion pinned to the front and leather sweatband, incorrectly replaced field insignia of white metal. Comes with a Hanoverian chako for infantry men with a fabric-covered body, peak, lid and collar of black leather, metal emblem (Saxon horse), newly replaced interior, field insignia missing. Partially incomplete, reworked, slightly damaged, signs of age.
