A helmet for enlisted men of the Colberg Grenadier Regiment Count Gneisenau No. 9, circa 1900 Black lacquered leather skull (zaponized, rubbed in places) with gilt non-ferrous metal mountings. The eagle emblem with bandeau "Colberg 1807" (double holes) fixed by leather wedges on the front. Neck guard. Fixed, smooth point with a plate and four round-headed pintles (double holes). New leather storm strap on button 91, an old metal cockade with remnants of paint. Black leather flap lining. Partially slightly damaged, signs of age. Assembled from old and new parts. Condition: III
