Tall shape made of fine dark blue wool cloth with red trim and piping, black lacquered visor, cockades incorrectly added. Watery black silk lining with silver maker's stamp. Ochre leather sweatband (stained). Small inconspicuous moth marks on the lid, small defects on the lower edge, signs of wear and age.
