A sabre M 1852 of the Magdeburg Train Battalion No. 4, circa 1900
Nickel-plated, slightly curved single-edged blade (spotted, partially pitted), the upper half richly etched on both sides, with the blued cartouche "Magdeb. Train Battalion No. 4.". Hilt with nickel-silver basket, nickel-plated iron grip back, cover of the wooden grip missing. Steel scabbard (traces of nickel plating, dents) with two movable suspension rings. Partially damaged, signs of age. Length 102 cm.
