A helmet M 1895 for infantry men with camouflage cover
Chambered piece. Black lacquered leather body (crackled in small pieces) with non-ferrous metal mountings. Gilded eagle emblem with patriotic scroll fixed by leather wedges. Plate with four round-headed pintles and a smooth, rigid point. Neck strap with ventilation slider. Leather chinscales on button 91, imperial and national cockade (small defect) of lacquered sheet iron. Black leather flap lining. Stamped "B. A. IV" on the neck peak. Comes with the camouflage cover made of brown-green cloth with five iron fastening hooks, the Landwehr cross inscribed on the front. Partially slightly damaged, signs of age.
