An M16 steel helmet with forehead protection plate Field gray lacquered steel skull (somewhat worn, traces of rust) with flanged rim and two vent bolts. Three-piece dark brown leather flap lining (occasional cracks, small defects) with padding, leather lining ring, leather chinstrap on button 91. Comes with the field-grey forehead protection for soldiers in the front line in the form of a matching, approx. 5 mm thick, forged steel plate with cut-outs on the sides for attaching to the ventilation bolts, old fastening strap present. Slightly damaged, signs of age. Condition: II
