Royal Saxon Rifle Regiment "Prinz Georg" No. 108 - a large gift jug for Sergeant Zöllner, 1887 - 1901
Two-liter jug made of cream-colored stoneware, glazed (crackled), painted in color, partially gilded, with the press mark "M&W" in a circle on the bottom. The front depicts a rifleman in green uniform (epaulette "108") in front of the barracks in the background. Pewter lid in rich relief (somewhat warped), engraved on the rim "Hauptmann Graf von Mandelsloh s. alten Feldwebel Zöllner", oval pusher surrounded by rocailles. Glued cracks to the handle attachments, signs of use and age. Total height 35 cm.
