A Spanish percussion pistol by Mendizabal in Placencia, ca. 1810
Octagonal barrel merging to round after a chiselled and gilded baluster at the breech, with a cannon muzzle in 17 mm caliber, engraved and with several gold-filled marks at the breech. Converted percussion stock with a figural chiselled cock. Full stock with lightly engraved iron furniture, belt hook on the left. Ramrod missing. Length 33 cm.
