A small collection of flintlock and percussion pistols, 18th and 19th century
Two travelling pistols, one from the 2nd half of the 18th century with smooth bore barrel in 14.5 mm caliber and rubbed gilding on top, lightly engraved flintlock (cock replaced) and beautifully grained stock as well as iron furniture. Length 29 cm. A percussion pistol from the end of the 18th century with a shortened barrel in 14 mm caliber with an unprofessionally cannon muzzle, an apt percussion lock (defective) and a stock with brass furniture (ramrod missing). Length 22 cm. Also a flintlock pistol and a percussion pistol for the oriental market, 18th/19th century, with smooth barrels in calibers 13.5 mm and 14.5 mm, locks defective, stocks carved and with iron and brass furniture. Length 44 cm and 49 cm. All weapons with traces of corrosion, the stocks with cracks, breaks and defects in places.
