An English pepperbox revolver, circa 1840
Cal. .44(BlackPowder), SN. without, barrel bundle with smooth bores, length 10 mm, acceptance marks between the barrels. Receiver and hammer with fine vine engraving, sliding safety (defective), marked "Baugh Selly Oak" on the left. Grip with fine chequering and pistol grip. Surfaces pitted, lock action defective, grip bumped. Length 23 cm.
