A German twelve-shot pinfire revolver by Heinrich Riffelmann in Solingen, circa 1860
Cal. 7mmLefaucheux, SN. 213, rifled barrel, bore somewhat rough, length 12 cm, on barrel root stamped "Probirt R" as well as caliber and marked "Sme. Lefaucheux". Twelve-shot, engraved cylinder. Side loading flap, pivoting case ejector. Frame engraved en suite. Folding trigger. Cylinder, barrel and frame patinated. Walnut grip panels with chequering. Signs of age and use. Length 21 cm.
