A German pinfire revolver by Heinrich Riffelmann in Solingen, circa 1860
Cal. 10mmLefaucheux, SN. 27, rifled barrel, rough bore, length 15 cm, on barrel root eagle stamp "S.P." (= Solingen proof). Six-shot cylinder, also with eagle stamp. Side loading flap, case ejector on the right. Frame lightly engraved. Folding trigger. Surfaces patinated and spotted. Walnut grip panels with partial chequering. Lanyard ring. Signs of age and use. Length 29 cm.
