A Ballard No. 6 Schuetzen rifle
Cal. .38-50Ballard, SN. 15086, octagonal barrel merging to round, length 28", bright bore, tunnel front sight and adjustable rear sight on top. Barrel stripped, bluing renewed. Bright lock case with medallions depicting a stag and a bear between scrollwork, company name and patent on the left, sight on top. German set trigger, lower lever with finger hook. Two-piece half stock with horn nose cap and brass hook butt cap. Slight signs of age and use. Length 115 cm.
