Cal. 7,65mmBrowning, SN. 3338, matching numbers. Barrel mirror finish. Eight-shot. Proof mark double crown/U. On the left two-line standard inscription with large Mauser barrel, on the right without inscription. Here the inscription was still milled, not rolled as on later models. Serial number 3001 marks the start of the final form of production, after the humpback. The two-line address is used up to serial number 10000, thereafter only single-line inscription. Original finish, faint wear mark on front of slide, slightly spotted on grip. Small parts blued. Walnut grip panel. Magazine with square base without Mauser barrel.
