Lesage, Paris, 1808 1 vol. in-4°: faux-titre, portrait, title, xp., 1 f. (summary), copy originally enriched with a portrait of Perronet engraved after Cochin fils probably in 1794, 154p., 10 pl. Original binding in dark green half-chagrin with corners. Excellent condition. Provenance: 5-line dedication by the author in red ink on the title, to engineer Olivier Duvaucelle, dated November 1, 1808. Following Peyronnet's work, Lesage published two collections of memoirs from the École des ponts et chaussées, anticipating the annual publication of the Annales des ponts et chaussées, from 1831 onwards, in which the engineers of this corps inform each other of their projects.
