Bound in contemporary red half-chagrin for the texts, red half-marrocain with corners for the plates. The plates were engraved by E. Ollivier, Hibon, J. Huguenet, A. Guillaumot, Ribault, L. Roux and Marlier (1st part) and by L. Roux, Hibon, F. Penel, Ribault, J. Huguenet, E. Ollivier, E. Lebel, Orgiazzi, Gaucherel, J. Sulpis, Bury, Lemaître and Mad. Clément (2nd part). Plates 44 and 89 are marked "Engraved by Hibon at the age of 80". Provenance: Initials "Chr. C." (Christian Clopet?) at the foot of the spine of the two atlases Important cours d'architecture by Jean Nicolas Louis Durand's successor at the École polytechnique, reprinted several times but rarely found in complete, homogeneous copies.
