Dutch counterfeit of the "pocket" version of the Vitruvius published by Coignard in 1674 and by Claude Perrault, famous architect of the Louvre Colonnade. This reduced edition was produced at Colbert's request, after the publication of the "large" edition of 1673, in order to make architectural knowledge more accessible to all.
