A French Chassepot M 1866 needlefire rifle
Caliber 11 mm, number A71527, bolt not matching numbered. Minimally rough, four-groove rifled barrel, adjustable sights on top. Stamped several times in front of the receiver, including the year "1868", on the receiver manufacturer "Chatellerault" and model designation. Full stock with iron furniture, butt stamped several times and with two larger cracks. Incorrectly replaced iron cleaning and discharging rod. Stock bumped, signs of age and use. Length 131 cm.
