A French M 1763/66 cavalry pistol
Smooth bore barrel in 17 mm caliber, model designation on the tang. Flintlock, on the lock plate manufacturer "Libreville". Full stock with iron furniture, iron ramrod not included. Iron parts patinated and somewhat spotted. Length 40 cm. The well-known Charleville manufactory was renamed Libreville during the revolutionary period.
