Cal. .38S&W, SN. V474504, somewhat rough barrel, length 5". Six-shot cylinder. English proof mark. On barrel company name and model, on frame bridge marked "U.S. Property", on frame right "Made in U.S.A.", underneath acceptance marks Broad arrows "FTR". Company logo in the area of the grip frame. Rubbed phosphate finish. Smooth walnut grip panels (somewhat chipped). Lanyard ring. Signs of age and use.
