Two Austrian cadet rifles, Augustin system, similar to M 1838/42
Smooth bore barrels in 14 mm caliber, on the breeches maker "G.Bentz", on the tangs numbers "55" and "98" respectively. Augustin system locks, the lock plates with the year "(1)853", the cocks with screwed-on rectangular, slightly wedge-shaped firing faces. Full stocks with brass furniture. One ramrod incorrectly replaced, the other missing, as are the springs for the Laukart bayonet mount. Iron parts spotted and patinated, stocks sanded, one trigger guard and trigger loose. Heavy, various signs of age and use.
