Smith & Wesson No. Three Russian, 3rd Mod. (Mod. 1874) by Ludwig Loewe, Berlin
Cal. .44S&WRussian, SN. 15931, cylinder unnumbered. Barrel somewhat rough, good bore/groove profile, length 6½". Six-shot. Barrel rib marked in cyrilliza "Ludwig Loewe & Co Berlin Germania" next to tsarist eagle. Russian acceptance mark with "1874" on rear left of frame. Finish worn, weapon bright, partially spotted, but no pitting. Dark, smooth walnut grip panels. Tang ring. Mechanically flawless. Apart from the worn finish technically very good overall condition.
