Cal. .56-56Spencer, SN. 14158, matching numbers. Bright bore barrel. Stepped sights. Lock plate marked "Joslyn Firearms Co. Stonington Con 1864". Breech plate marked "B.F. JOSE PATENT, JUNE 24. 1862". Barrel with original browning. Metal parts bright, slightly spotted. Rail with suspension ring on the left side. Butt cap marked "US". Beautiful dark walnut stock with light wear marks. Can still be improved by careful cleaning.
