Cal. 8x57J, SN. 6412, not matching numbered. Rough barrel, length 73 cm. Five-shot. Sight removed. On the receiver head "OE / WG / Steyr / 1891", on the left "Orion" importer's stamp, on the guide on the left "Gew. 88.". On lower barrel band erased troop stamp, on upper "60.R.8.109.". Various imperial acceptance marks. Original finish on barrel, wear marks and partially worn with sights removed. Case reworked. Wooden stock, foxing, repaired chip on butt stock neck, wear marks, both sling swivels. Cleaning rod. Total length 125 cm.
