Cal. 8x57J, SN. 3929D, not matching numbered. Rough barrel, length 74 cm. Five-shot. German proof mark 2002, troop stamp on lower ring "K.A.R.E.3.162.". Various acceptance marks crown/Gothic letter. Original finish barely present, reworked, inscriptions "Steyr / 1894" and "Gew.88." barely legible. Dark walnut stock with minor wear marks, both sling swivels. Cleaning rod inserted. Length 125 cm.
