On receiver company logo Anschütz, model designation and acceptance date "12/56". Bundeswehr acceptance marks on barrel, receiver and stock. Sliding sights scaled from 25 - 100, flattened front sight, front sight guard. Well preserved, original finish, partially somewhat worn, no rust. Dark, beautifully patinated walnut stock with usage marks, nothing embellished or refurbished. On the butt cap troop marking "5/173" in white color. Rare training rifle by Anschütz for the Bundeswehr. Length 107 cm.
