STEYR Mannlicher Cavalry bolt-action rifle, model 1896, rechambered to 22 LR for target practice.
Cal. 22 LR (rechambered), 1 shot. Serial no. "F 652". All metal parts re-bronzed, not to same no., breech "H 174". Traces of "CI" markings under thunder crown and "STEY...." for STEYR 1896 on left side of breechcase. Varnished wood stock with long barrel without markings or hallmarks (no longer present). Rod present. Complete. Functional mechanism, inside of barrel mirrored with good scratches.
