Cal. 17.6 mm. All metal parts with stained gray patina. Smooth round barrel with thunder flats and stamped "E" under crown, no date. Tailstock marked "MLE AN9". Lock marked "C. F." "Mre de Mutzig" and controller's hallmark "C" under star. Brass fittings with no visible hallmark. Beautiful walnut stock with short barrel and "C" control mark under crown for Jean Baptiste COPIOMONT (1802-1830). Original nailhead steel ramrod. Functional mechanism with two clear, play-free cocking notches. Smooth barrel interior with minor surface oxidation. Complete.
