Beautiful travel pistol with box and pin, with two tilting tabletop barrels with key, signed "BOISSY".
Cal. 11 mm. Serial no. "63". All metal parts in white polished finish. Round rifled damascus barrels. The barrels are chased with scrolls and plant motifs. The breech tail is chased with floral motifs. The frame is signed "BOISSY" in an oval on the entablature under the barrels. Retractable triggers. Carved Renaissance-style ebony stock with stepped steel cap ending in a ball. Functional mechanism with two clear, play-free cocking notches. Very clean inside barrels.

Note: P BOISSY, gunsmith in Saint-Étienne. He presented luxury pistols at the Paris Universal Exhibition in 1855. In 1879, his address was 34 rue de la Badouillère (Réf. Jarlier).
