Souvenir of the Comte de Chambord (Henry V) (1820-1883), circa 1860-65.
Red wax seal with 3-line motto "MON PAYS SERA - MES AMOURS - TOUJOURS" affixed to paper with handwritten and signed note "Conservez ma devise, elle chère à mon cœur, Henry". Presented in a rectangular wood frame with oval view, inlaid with gilded brass and fillets.

(Patina of age, document not seen outside the frame, minor damage to the frame. Fairly good condition).
