Important Navaja folding knife, dated 1869.
Handle with brown horn plates decorated with brass inlays. Brass bolsters. Strong blade with stained gray patina and small traces of oxidation in places, engraved on both sides with a frieze of vegetal motifs and the words "Soy Defensa Demi Dueno y Senor ano de 1869" ("I am the defense, my owner and Lord, year 1869") in a cartouche on the left side.
54.5 cm (Blade unfolded). Blade 25 cm.
(Wear and minor wear and tear, some brass inlays on the plates and lock ring are missing. Fairly good condition).
