Rare "SEITENGEWEHR" 98-02 sawtooth bayonet, without scabbard.
Handle without flame guard, striated wooden plates. Blade with small stained gray patina, gutter and sawtooth. Manufacturer's marking on heel: "V. C. SCHILLING SUHL". It is stamped on the back "FA" under crown for Frederick Augustus III, King of Saxony, "05" for 1905, "RC" under crown and control stamp.

(Saxon 98-02 bayonets are rarely encountered, as many Saxon regiments were equipped with Prussian bayonets. Good condition).
