Handle with screwed wooden plates. All metal parts with small gray patina, stained in places. The guard received "B. 6. R. R. 7. 209." Manufacturer's marking on heel "V. C. SCHILLING SHUL" and on the back "L" under crown, "87" for 1887 and control stamp. Black bronzed steel scabbard, oxidized in places.
