This series of prints documents the collection of Jean-Baptiste Boyer d'Eguilles, Marquis d'Eguilles (1650-1709). Jacobus CoelemansoJacob Coelemans, known in France asJacques Coelemans(Antwerp, August 23, 1654-Aix-en-Provence, February 11, 1732) was a Flemish engraver, known for his reproductive prints of famous painters and portraits. He trained in his native Antwerp and later moved to Aix-en-Provence in France where he worked for the rest of his life. In Aix he was hired by Jean-Baptiste Boyer d'Aguilles, his patron, procurator general of Provence and famous art collector, to engrave his entire collection. Annibale Carracci (1560-1609) was an Italian painter and engraver from Bologna. Together with his brother Agostino (1557-1602) and cousin Ludovico (1555-1619) they are considered the progenitors of the Baroque style and very influential in European art. Work in perfect condition.
