Exceptional Art Nouveau vase, Bohemia, c. 1895, glass. Probably designed by Robert Holubetz for Johann Lötz Witwe. Shape with oval wall cross-section and navette-shaped rim. Fused strands on each of the narrow sides, which simultaneously thicken towards the bottom and form feet. The front of the wall painted in opaque enamel, outlined in gold: Poppy bouquet. Opaque glass mass, iridescent. Deep recessed base, signed ''170/ I./ H/ 269''. H. 15.5 cm. Exceptional art nouveau glass vase, enamel paint. Design by Robert Holubetz. Ca. 1895.
