Floor clock. Wooden body (ash) with removable head, anobia holes! In the middle section 3/4 columns, at the head section two full and two half columns. Doors with panels. 1st - mid 19th century. H. 2.56 m. Weight-driven pendulum movement with two weights, strike and alarm, strike on bell. Brass front with date window, engraved ''Rob. Trippet London'' (Robert Trippet, London, active around 1700). Cast corner applications. Above the dial a semicircular metal plate with naively painted landscape with castle view. Crank present. Probably ''marriage'' of movement and case. No guarantee of function. Lang case clock, wooden case, pendulum movement with strike on bell, date indication, alarm. No proof of function. Brass dial signed ''Rob. Trippet London''. Movement and case probably not belonging together originally. H. 2,56 m
