Viennese lantern clock, Anton Sambler, c. 1810. Three-sided glazed, elegant case with triangular pediment, softwood, veneered in bird's-eye maple, lacquered, edges inlaid in black. Fire-gilt brass applications. The case is a 20th century replica in the correct style, using old parts. Enamel dial signed ''Anton Sambler in Theresienstadt'' (clockmaker, 1765 Prague-1832 Theresienstadt, internet source: https://genealogy.sambler.eu/tree/sambler/individual/X581/Anton-Sambler). Min. chipped at the keyhole and min. hairline crack. Date circle, second. Pendulum movement with one weight, second pendulum. No guarantee of functionality. H. 139 cm.
