Storage jug for wine, China, Han dynasty (206 BC - 220 AD). Baluster shape with two molded handles. Stoneware, engraved decoration of horizontal grooves, wavy bands in between. Transparent light green glaze (ash glaze) on the upper bulging part/vessel shoulder, running to the foot in places. Rim min. rest. H. 28.5 cm.
