Blechschmidt, Hermann. 1882 Schalkau-1934 Eisenach. Portrait bust of the composer Siegfried Kuhn (1893 Eisenach, 1915 killed in action in Poland). Bronze, 1933, signed and dated in the cast, black marble base block with inscription. H. 37 cm incl. base. Hermann Blechschmidt created the grave monument for the composer, who fell in the First World War at a young age, in his birthplace Eisenach in the main cemetery in 1929.
