Inscribed in detail in the plate below the image. Framed behind glass in passepartout. Approx. 21 x 40 cm (Pl), 47 x 64 cm (Ra). Slightly tableau-like panoramic scene with numerous horsemen in motion before a hilly ideal landscape. Group of horse men in the Roman campagna. Etching after G.P. Rugendas from 1694.
